The screen is automatically turned on when the unit is called and communication is established when the user presses the speech button. As the monitor is not full duplex, to hear a caller the user must release the speech button. After a short time of non usage the unit then turns itself off.

The Entryphone colour video monitor enables a user to view and communicate with callers with the screen and control access using the door release.
