The Fadini ELPRO 42 is the electronic control unit for swinging gates fitted with the DARDO 424 operator. It gives homeowners and installers a controller that is quick to programme and built to stop and reverse if the gate meets an obstacle, so the gate stays safe for family, visitors and vehicles.

Motor run time is programmed with one button, with or without gate delays, and there is a fixed slowdown on opening and closing. An amperometric function and encoder handle reversing on impact, backed by DSA and DACS autotests and the RT DATA logic system. Dedicated outputs serve an electric lock and two motors, there are dedicated safety edge inputs, and trimmers set speed, force and dwell time. The unit takes two 12 V 2.6 Ah batteries and sits in a 210 x 295 x 110 mm IP64 box.
