AES EL00C-RAD - e-Loop Commercial Surface Mount Radar Loop (Presence Mode)
The AES EL00C-RAD is a commercial-grade wireless vehicle detection sensor with dual sensing technology, combining magnetometer and radar detection. This is the sensor unit only — a compatible AES e-Trans transceiver, concrete fixing bolts, and magnet are sold separately or available as part of the EL00C-RAD-K kit.
The sensor is surface mounted to the driveway using concrete fixing bolts. When a vehicle approaches, the magnetometer detects the change in magnetic field and triggers the transceiver relay. The sensor then switches to radar mode to confirm continued vehicle presence. If the magnetic field drops below threshold, radar verifies whether a vehicle remains above the sensor before releasing the relay. Two-way radio communication ensures reliable latch and unlatch confirmation between sensor and transceiver.
Radar settings including dead zone, sensor distance, sensitivity, magnetic field release level, and confirmation mode are adjustable via the AES e-Diagnostics remote.
The gate or door controller must have a dedicated open input and auto close function enabled.
