Videx 1000A 1000/4000 Door Expander, Expands 1000B Above 4 Door
Used to expand the VP1000 and VP4000 controllers to above four doors, the Videx 1000A is required for each additional door added to the system.
It is connected through a Serial BUS interface (only 3 wires not shielded, for a max. distance of 500 mts and max. resistance of 10 Ohm).
99 1000A units can be connected to the same BUS for apartment doors and 16 for main doors, which are addressed during setup by programming the eight way dip-switch bank.
