This kit is suitable for two doors or two entries for one door. Typical usage would be having the included panel reader installed into a vandal resistant door entry panel for the exterior entry, and the vandal resistant reader surface mounted for exiting if necessary. Alternatively the vandal resistant reader could be used on an exit only door.

The kit contents use high frequency which enables a quicker read time and better range as well as having less interference issues. Using these units together enables a high level of security (128 bit AES) which eliminates credential cloning.

Backwards compatibility enables the kit to be used for replacing an older low frequency system.
