Using a door handle magnetic lock
Door handle magnetic locks off an elegant alternative to normal magnetic lcoks and fitting of ANSI strikes. Door handle magnetic locks can be used with aluminium and timber doors. When used with double doors, one leaf should be fixed in place.
The magnet is fitted to the frame (or fixed door) and the handle with armature plate (inside) is fitted to the opening door.
The advantages of using this magnetic lock over other magnetic locks
All magnetic locks are fail safe devices. That mean that if power is removed the lock will open. You will always need a method of opening the door from the outside (eg keyswitch, keypad, or access control), as there is no key override.
